A Fire-Med membership provides emergency ambulance service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Non-emergencey ambulance service is also provided when medically necessary and pre-authorized by a physician.
UCFD #1 Fire-Med Features Family Coverage
A UCFD #1 Fire-Med membership covers the immediate family member, spouse, and all unmarried dependents under 21 living in the member’s residence or care or nursing home. Dependents over the age of 21 will be considered immediate family under certain circumstances, if claimed as an income tax dependent.
Non-family living in the member’s household is considered a separate family and must obtain a separate membership.
Hermiston Fire-Med is provided by Umatilla County Fire District 1.
